| Maaaaan, your videos rock. Heheheheh. Especially the wi-fi one. It gave me some chuckles when you strapped your phone over the salad bowl and made a 'satellite dish'. | | | GaryJohnson | | Nutlanders |

After trying for days, I finally got the GoogleTV working! I won't waste your time with details of all the unsuccessful attempts, but here's what I did:
First, I set up 10 different accounts, each invited through the last (you need to use the invites to link the accounts even though you can sign up without invites). Then, in the reverse order of the invites, I forwarded the email described in the video to each account. Finally, I logged in to the first account 42 times to get a GoogleTV invite! | | | Tom | | Redmond, WA |

| after i found out the google tv thing didnt work i killed my only friend | | | push | | no |

I am considering the purchase of over 10 used microwave ovens and then keeping about a bushel of a given vegetable in each one. In this way, I can take advantage of sales on produce, especially at harvest time.

| Thanks Mark, the cell phone coil worked pretty damn good for me I got a little less than twice the networks. The salad bowl however didn't add any networks. I guess it depends on where you are. I found the sweet spot for coils around my cell phone was about 23 coils. I was able to double the coil over itself and still maintain connectivity. | | | SteveB | | Southern California |

Google TV r0X0rs! Pity the UK version doesn't carry the latest shows though, but at least I can get Sky Sports without a satellite dish at last.

Dear Mark,
This site is very interesting, and I hope you will be coming up with more tutorials. I especially like how you don't just focus on computers, but other helpful hints with daily things as well. I'm still trying to figure out the whole GoogleTV one though, haha. Thanks anyway.

| Your videos are not even funny. You have a very boring sense of humour. | | | Hade | | UK |

To anyone with doubts: GoogleTv really does provide a much better user experience than Joost. Joost looks fancier, but Google just knows how to *make it work* if you know what I mean.
I do have difficulties setting up Google TV with a second gmail account though, maybe they're not letting any more people in? | | | Jaap | | Netherlands |

| The show is very cool, but you could perhaps use some REAL solutions?! intead making a fool of the people. Get REAL stuff that acctually works! | | | Shorty | | Brazil |

Thankyou so much for the great tips! Although it took me literally hours I now have Google TV (and it was so worth it!), and the trick with the phone is just fantastic - it's so obvious, yet nobody else I know has thought of it. Unfortunately the tip for fast mail delivery isn't much good to me as a UK viewer, but I definitely intend to keep watching!
Thanks again, Mark!! | | | Floz Chadwick | | UK |
